The Oscars Dresses 2011

There is the only one special night everybody is waiting for. Yes - Oscars!!! Whether you are a movie lover or not, the second important thing is who wear what. Have a look:

 

I love the top of the dress, unfortunately can't say it about the bottom. This dress would look much better without a chiffon added.

 

A beautiful nude dress, very feminine and romantic style, but this dress needs more tanned skin.

The most 'talk about' Oscars dress. Love it or hate it. I must say it's very unique combination of Victorian (top) with delicate and romantic bottom. Despite of yellow attachment, love the colour harmony. Unfortunately, the circle in the front resembles the photo frame!

Natalie Portman decided to choose simple but elegant and flawless dress. She looked amazing.

Disappointed with Penelope Cruz, she usually has been a red carpet princess wearing always stunning dresses. But sadly not this year. She  proudly presented her post baby body,  which was probably the purpose of this dress. It looks cheap and usual. Sorry Penelope, maybe next year...

Every Oscar ceremony has the worst dress indicated by Fashion Police. I think they should definitely consider this one! Beautiful actress without a bit of taste.


For my final word, would like to be optimistic, so look at these stunning master pieces wearing by Jenninfer Lopez an Demi Moore, classic beauty with universal style.

Chanel Clogs... Would You go for them???

I don't know why they're so popular? Besides of comfort and height adding I can't see any reason for wearing them. Shoes should be sexy, sophisticated, attractive and alluring, point out the style and give the edge to the outfit. But fashion is fun and even ugly can be new beutiful... Just don't combine these massive blocks with delicate and romantic dress, PLEASE! They only look good with thick/ heavy fabric (wool, cashmere, tweed) dresses with sharply highlighted outline. Grey Hair- Hit or Miss?

We saw a lot of celebrities just jumping into grey hair new trend makeover, with a different effect. Hmm... I'm not the fan of let's say mature lady's hair colour (maybe I'm too oldfashioned) and there is nothng which could convince me to make this change! Even with the best hairdressers company, and the best cosmetics, these stars don't look good. The verdict is simple; chanhe is not always for better.... Below there is a confirmation of my words!

All I can add is that grey hair comes with age and even on young and beautiful head it still looks old. The only lady who is proud of her natural grey hair colour and looks stunning is Merryl Streep!

This is a BIG NO NO!

An awful combination of yellow material with silver lace, resembling more a table cloth than dress.

Boring neckline and non-matching sleeves.

Considering the age of the actress, the length of the dress also is not suitable in this case.

I prefer this lady in more sophisticated outfit, definitely longer!

Lace presented this way is not for Mrs. Zeta.

As much I love Scarlett, I don't like this outfit.
Too much for one person. I can see 2 different dresses on her.
Like the cut and pattern of this skirt.
But with lace top doesn't look appropriate as to fashion icon.
It's not the best choice. She can do better!
