Burberry Ready-To-Wear Spring 2014

Despite of coming winter, I'd like to warm this time up a little bit and share the new Burberry Spring Collection. It's far away from it's traditional patterns, instead you'll see very feminine, transparent, beaded fabrics in sweet pastels and neutrals. Ready to wear collection presents timeless sporty elegance. It's just beautiful.

Golden Globes 2013

This year Golden Globes abounds with surprises. Each event is unique but thanks to Judy Foster's speech this one will be unforgettable. Personally, I'd like to forget some dresses saw last night... For long time I haven't seen so many bad choices, as this year. Take a look!

How could you do this to me Sienna??? You were my style icon.... Well, it seems like everybody makes mistakes.

Rachel Weisz's dress looks really awkward. Transparent sleeved top of the dress looks elegant and suits the her 100%, while transparent tulle extension looks unatractive  destroying her whole appearance.

Too much! This gown makes the actress big and puffy. That's the opposite effect you want to achieve on the red carpet! Very heavy structure with a lot of drapes like castle's shutters. Don't like chunky, cheap looking bangles that don't match crystal earrings.

I must say that this Calvin Klein gown is really elegant and feminine, and this unique pastel blue color makes it more adorable, but it does NOT suit Jessica Chastain. The whole look is just too pale. She would need a contrast in strong, deep colors to enhance her beauty.

I was very disappointed, as this could be a really hit on the red carpet this year. Instead it's next trashy dress. Hally doesn't need as much skin to shown off. Everybody knows how fit she is, so the waist triangle cut is totally unnecessary. Also what bothers me the most is distorted breasts. Versace should be shamed... Big designer name doesn't promise a big hit!

These both examples present how you should not mix sleeves and turtleneck in your evening gown. Heavely decorated sleeves make your neck disappear.

Below there is a right way how to wear decorated sleeves. You don't need any accessories. Stunning!

Better choices:

 My favorites:
1. Lace

2. Beads & crystals

3. Classic Elegance

My top favorite! Brave choice by Lucy Liu stole the red carpet! So unique but not weird. Bravo!

Basil Soda - Art of Fashion

Since the last SAG Awards I just couldn't forget about these stunning Basil Soda creations seen on the red carpet.

Therefore, I began my research to find out more about this luxury brand. Behind the label there is a very talented stylist/ designer - Basil Soda. He is the one who creates these extraordinary gowns. Everything, starting from the fabric choice, cut, colours, details, he creates the look that is so electric, that you just can't take your eyes off.

Look at collections below, you'll be stunned!

Collection 2012

I don't know what about you, but I can see the obvious transformation within a last few years. Compering 2009 with 2012 Couture collections there is a noticeable difference regarding details and 'playing' with materials. As a result the gowns became more daring with this unique Basil's touch.
